How do you work in this industry long term while keeping good mental health and not becoming completely jaded or hating all men.
I would expect: good screening, not seeing emotionally draining/abusive clients, and trying to keep strong boundaries, and being low-volume, but is there anything else that has made it so that you can work long term in this industry?
I hate when people say, "you can't do this forever" or you need to just "get in and get out" because it feels like it perpetuates an idea that all SW are survival sex workers. This field is the same as people who model, play sports or work in a competitive field. Yet we don't say those poor poor models or poor Olympic athletes. Those are simply fields that are glamorized.
