Seeking advice/directions about high-value gifts

hello all!

i've got a bit of a niche question, and i'm still trying to decide who i should be asking - if anyone has directions to the best-informed community, i would be truly grateful!

i'm just starting out at the low end of high-end, and i've managed to make myself appear a lot wealthier than i actually am. i don't have anything by way of savings or resources, and all my 'high-end' looks are shoplifted, thrifted from the wealthy part of town, or subtle dupes.

i still have some leftover contacts from when i was sugaring - including a man who appears to be a bit of a whale. he's dropped significant money on me in the last little while, with a low 'allowance' (ugh) and expensive gifts. gifts are great, but we all know they can't pay my rent!

he loves designer brands, and i can tell he would respond badly to my asking for more allowance. so, to me, the next best thing would be trying to angle for gifts with a high resale value. obviously my dream would be a shipping container full of raw lithium but i think girly stuff like shoes, bags, and jewelry is more likely.

as people with much more experience around luxury goods, does anyone have any advice on which brands/goods i should be looking for, ones that are more likely to be 'vintage' in the future or tend to retain their value in other ways? in my head, gold jewelry makes sense for the value of the metal, but i also don't know whether it makes sense to ask for designer-level gold because the markup is linked to the branding.

also, if I'm on the wrong track entirely, please tell me! thank you all so much for reading this.
