Hi all! I'm curious what those of you do who are from outside of the States or otherwise spend a good chunk of the year outside of the USA...
I spend 1-4 months a year in Europe and I've never worked there as Natalie, but I'm considering it. I'd love to meet some different people and have some different experiences, and I love how well connected the EU is by train.
Rates are very different, however. Do you keep your US rates while abroad or do you lower them a bit to better match the market? If you do the latter, do you change them on your main website, or have a special EU page, or...?
On one hand it doesn't really seem like there will be a market for a US provider charging US rates while overseas, but on the other hand it seems like US clients might give pushback if prices are significantly lower for a portion of the year and then return to normal upon my return to the States.
TIA for sharing your thoughts/experiences!
