I read a lot here about girls having civvie jobs and do SW on the side. I’ve been doing this for about two years now. Before that I was an analyst sometimes working 100 hours a week. I never want to do that again. I was overworked and hated the pressure. Money isn’t an issue and I’m really happy with what I do but sometimes I feel like I have too much free time. I’m wondering if I should get a part time job working from home. I was thinking I could do well working as a program manager.
So I’m curious, what’s your civvie job title and what does it entail? Do you work from home? Is it full time? Do any of the SW facets (advertising, marketing, client relations) contribute to your role?
