I tried having sex for the first time since being diagnosed. It all turned purple and started throbbing. I am so embarrassed and it hasn’t stopped throbbing since. It was all under control and no current open ones. I feel terrible for my wife, and I can’t find anything online that helps men with HS.

Everyone around me is sick with the flu or strep, and in the midst of a bad outbreak I’m having to run around getting everyone medicine. I came home and my bandages were soaking with blood. The outbreak has been on going for 2 months now and still spreading. I just want it to stop.

As my flare up starts to slowly dissipate, when will the pain stop? It seems like one spot just hasn’t stopped since it started. It just stabs and burns constantly, and one day it’ll be swollen the next not. I’m worried the pain won’t go away, it’s been almost 2 months now.

Was just diagnosed with HS. I’ve never had this before, I’m 39 and it hit hard. I have about 8 boils around my groin area. I thought it was a rash and just let it go for 3 weeks until it got too painful to walk. My derm just injected me with something today, and is pushing Humira. I am overwhelmed.
