Is this what I’ve had all these years?

Post Body

I remember being 12-14 in middle school and being in awful pain from boils in my groin area. I had to stay home some days and my mom knew but we never talked about it much. At one point in my early 20s I thought it was an STD somehow even though I wasn’t sexually active at 12. That came back negative. I talked to a primary doctor for the first time in 8 years and she thinks I may possibly have this. I’m seeing a gynecologist soon but I know you usually need a dermatologist to diagnose so I’m hoping I can get diagnosed. I have cried about how ugly my vagina is to this day because of the scarring and constant boils reoccurring. My mom even mentioned that my dad supposedly has this issue and I think my grandma did too. Are there things I can do to help before I get diagnosed and hopefully stuff to help? I know I should get cotton only underwear so I’ll be changing that out soon. If anyone can give me tips I’d appreciate it because I have a biggish one right now that keeps draining and is painful when I’m supposed to be having a fun night in a hot tub room with my partner tonight ugh.
