Pain meds to help with HS
Post Body

Good Evening,

I was wondering what you all are doing for pain management. When I get new HS's under my arms I use vicks and it works well enough until it finally ruptures and ... Ahhhhhhhh... the relief....

Right now I have several that have come up in an outbreak that vicks cannot be used on. Right now I'm "lucky" that I still have some oxycodone left from my surgery a couple months ago, so on really bad days (like now) I take one to tame it down so at least I can rest.

But I'm looking for advice, not CBD/THC related as I have security clearance and cannot do those things, on what might work for pain. I definitely don't want to be taking narcotics for my pain long term. Even if it's only 1 pill ever week when the pain gets bad.

I also can't currently use NSAIDs due to a conflict with other meds I'm on.

I was thinking of maybe trying to talk to my doctor about giving me Tramadol, but I don't know if it would help on HS.

Any advice is welcome.
