How do you do your wound dressing? Specifically your armpits.

So I have stage 3 HS untreated (Ive had two ind surgeries and was on humira for a few months before I lost my insurance in 2022).

I don't experience any large boils or abscesses since last year but I have hella tunnels that continue to drain nonstop. I try my best to change my dressings, use hibiclens and stretch my body.

So for wound dressing I just use gauze or cloth tape and a large gauze pad on my arm pits. It works fine and I only have to change it once or twice a day. My issue is that the tape sucks! It usually becomes undone since I'm active all day with work and just living my normal life. It also bothers my skin and seems to make it more inflamed.

My only other alternative is to use bandages but it's not enough to cover my HS. Sometimes I'll combine two large bandages to cover it, but the adhesive is even more irritating on my skin and makes it hard to change it out since it's so durable.

I have so many issues with my options, the appearance, my limited mobility and overall discomfort. I know there's hidrawear but it looks uncomfortable and too expensive, just doesn't seem worth it. That clear nexaderm bandage is also way out of budget for me but I wish I could use that instead.

Are these the only options we have?? I literally can't think of anything else.
