Want to drink less sugary drinks?

Brew hibiscus flower (jimica) with some honey and lemon! Drink iced or warm. It's packed w vitamin C, good for digestion and inflammation!!

So obviously we know that diet can contribute to the symptoms of HS, but altering diets can be a pain especially when you have a CRAZY sweet tooth like me. I personally use food to cope with stress so I'm taking small steps towards making good decisions for my health

I never changed my diet when it came to my HS and I've had it since I was 15 (I'm 23 and stage 3). I figured it never really made a difference if my diet switched because it tends to vary depending on my living situation. Now that I'm back home for the summer, I've found myself consuming a lot more calories and consuming WAY too much sugar. My mom likes to make sweet tea and we make about a gallon every other day (between 4 people; I know that's still a lot idk what to say).

Now I have a small boil under my arm and although it's small, sometimes it grows to the size of a golf ball. I've been making an effort to take daily warm baths, apply castor oil and tree oil to my body, use coconut oil and ice packets!! (Nothing ever gets direct contact with my HS since I still have open wounds. The pain has seem to gone down a bit, but it's still very much there but no head forming. Just pain. I'm hoping all my small changes accumulate.
