Hello I’m 27M, I’ve been suffering with constant boils since I was approximately around 14-15 y/o. I get these boils/flares near my groin area and in my underarms. It usually pops up when I sweat and miss cleaning up those areas or wear T-shirts which are tight on my underarm area. These boils usually subside when I take care of it i.e when I keep it clean and take multiple baths in the subsequent days and wear loose clothes. The boils sometimes won’t subside and would cause so much pain and would develop and leak pus out for several days. These boils keep recurring at-least once in two months and would not subside for atleast 5-6 days. I usually apply turmeric paste on the boils to fix it and recently lidocaine 4% helped me with pain and bulge. Also my groin and underarms looks pretty dark but not like the images I’ve seen on the internet. Also I’m overweight but not obese.

So my only question is that is this HS or should I check with a dermatologist?.
