So, from my understanding/perspective Mizore is attempting confessing to Nozomi. She wants her feelings to be received and known.

The part I cannot understand for the LIFE of me, is how Nozomi is feeling in that moment. She seems like she is recognizing/realizing Mizore’s feelings, and then attempting to side-step them. But why does she laugh? She laughs and then leaves and I was about as confused as Mizore appeared to be lol.

Am I to assume that they don’t address Mizore’s feelings/confession? And am I to assume that Nozomi doesn’t feel the same way? Of course, she loves Mizore, but based off her reaction, not in the same way, maybe?

It’s the only thing I feel like I really struggled to understand. I can’t really understand the nuance of Nozomi’s reaction/expressions.

Everyone seems to act like it was a good ending, but to me it seems like Mizore was vaguely rejected and they just proceed to be friends. Which is fine, but sort of disappointing.

Any insight would be great! Thanks :)
