Disclaimer: I have only watched season’s 1-2, LTAT, and Oath’s Finale.
But, anyone else super bummed with Oath’s and the fact that the second years only got a movie for their last year AND they didn’t make it to Nationals? Is that what happens in the novels?
In light of the fact that Hibike is getting a 3rd season, I can only feel some regret and frustration that the 2nd years got like… nothing lol. I think their final year deserved a full season rather than just Oath’s.
I find the second years quite entertaining and funny. I also find their dynamics and relationships with everyone compelling! So, I guess I’m a little bitter that Oath’s was their send-off and that the newer students became more of the focus. Granted, Liz was great and special, but I would consider that to be more of a character study.
I genuinely believe that if Oath’s was a season rather than a movie, it would’ve been so much more interesting. Or at least given time to let the second years have screen time with everyone else.
Any thoughts? Or insight! Thanks :)
