Just got diagnosed with small HH. I’ve been dealing with a variety of symptoms over the last few months but the anxiety spikes are one of the hardest to deal with. It seems like anxiety is pretty common, has anyone found SSRIs or prescribed anxiety medication to help? I’m a little hesitant to start an SSRI like Zoloft even though my doctor is recommending it because I don’t want to deal with side effects and withdrawal trying to get back off it on top of everything else going on. I have found that benzos are pretty effective but that’s not a good long term solution either. I’m on 80 mg of Pantaprozole and blood pressure medication currently. Is there anyone here who has gotten back to anywhere near a normal life after having bad initial symptoms? How long did it take? Besides diet, what one thing helped you the most? Sorry for adding in more questions but you know, the anxiety is acting up 😩
