I've always felt this was one of the weirder gameplay choices in a stealth game (in Hitman 2 and 3, specifically) where if you destroy a camera nobody comes to check out what's wrong with it. There are already security rooms where you can erase the footage so there's a place where the feeds of the individual cameras are being aggregated. It would've been another pretty feasible option how to lure the security person out of the room and erase the footage if need be. On the other hand it makes playing through the maps a much smoother experience when you don't have to worry about someone coming your way after destroying a camera and just carry on past it without a worry.
Correct me if I'm wrong as I only play on the Professional difficulty and this is something that happens on Master but from what I've read in the description of that difficulty level it only adds more cameras but not this kind of repercussion system for destroying them.
What are your thoughts about this? Would you like if this were in the games or do you think the current state is the perfect balance of difficulty?
