Howdy folks,
The IO Forums were kind of a mess, so I figured I'd head here. I'm experiencing a technical issue with Windows 10 that only happens in Hitman 2016, so I thought I'd try and ask this community.
When I run Hitman, there is a Windows process called WMI Provider Host that eats up anywhere from 15% to 40% of my CPU. I assume it has something to do with the always online nature, but I can't be sure. It doesn't happen at any other time, in any other title, and happens consistently when I play HITMAN. It's not a virus, or malware, and it's a new issue (I've played a couple hundred hours since the game came out originally without this issue) for me.
Anyone experience this, or have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it - I want to get back to knocking out those challenges in mopping up the ET's I missed in Season 1.
Thanks!
