As a result of autism I have pretty strong alexithymia so essentially I have a hard time realising things to do with my emotions and sensations of my body and why that's happening. I don't realise I am walking too fast, breathing too quickly, talking to quickly, talking too loudly, etc. you get the point. I don't always connect the dots when it comes to my health.
I have symptomatic GHSV2 and I also get cold sores and I have no symptoms before they appear that I know of and I've had cold sores once a year or so since I was a teenager. I only know that sometimes during the cold sore outbreak I do have cold symptoms but not before the cold sore shows up.
Is there a way of making it easier to tell when I will have another genital outbreak or when I have prodrome? Or do I just wait until the outbreak happens physically and then take meds or deal with it? I noticed 0 symptoms listed before I got this current outbreak whatsoever.
