I never told my partner. Now they may have it. What do I do?
Post Body

I caught hv2 in college almost 10 years ago. Only had one outbreak and never again. Never told anyone and never passed it to anyone. My long term partner recently went to be tested and just got the call to come talk about the results. My partner said it sounded urgent. I’m afraid it could’ve finally happened that I passed it on. What do I do if so?

No. I was years ago when I was initially diagnosed. Stopped taking it when I lost my insurance switching jobs. And then never went back to it because I never had an outbreak

Honestly, I never knew what to say and I was scared they’d leave me. And tbh I don’t come from a good family and both parents deceased. So losing someone I love is big fear of mine. Not trying to justify my actions here. Just answering the question. That and I’ve never had an outbreak and 67% of people have it any way…it’s not right but that’s my answer
