I decided to give a girl that told me she had herpes a chance and now I have it. When I first started noticing symptoms I wasn’t even angry because I knew it was my choice to take the risk. Then the icing on the cake, a few days after I started showing symptoms the girl told me she fucked another guy. Now I have a disease on my dick I can never get rid of and I don’t talk to her. She’ll just easily find another guy willing to risk it, and I’ll just continue to be rejected by every girl I disclose to. I know girls get rejected when they disclose too, but it seems like every success story I see on here is from a female. I’ll see a girl post about how she’s had over 15 sexual partners since getting diagnosed while I get rejected every time I do the right thing and disclose. It’s genuinely getting to the point where I see why some guys don’t disclose, and I’m hoping I never get to the point where I’m enough of a piece of shit to do that. It’s crazy how someone can be telling you to come over to hook up one second and then completely change their mind after you do the right thing and disclose to them before heading to their place. I guess it makes sense though because if you’re a girl that doesn’t have herpes why would you risk it for a hookup with some guy on tinder when you have an endless amount of dudes without it willing to fuck at the drop of a hat? As a guy on dating apps the odds are stacked against you to begin with, and then you throw in the fact you have herpes and it gets to the point where it just seems impossible and a complete waste of time and energy. I’ve tried positive singles and it’s just complete shit. There’s hardly any people on it where I live, and if you do match someone you have to pay $30 for a month just talk to them…and if it’s even worth paying the $30 just to send a message to the one person you matched on it that’s over an hour away from you. I feel like at this point I need to decide between either moving to a city with a huge population to have a shot at dating or just being alone for the rest of my life.
