Here M40 straight, with gHSV2. Infected on November 2016, diagnosed on April 2017 with fluids swab. My first outbreak was a tiny painless blister which took ages to heal. A very small exuding wound located on my left hip. Tingling, itching and slight pain were symptoms I started to experience only on the second occurrence. The following outbreaks consisted of a single cluster of blisters in the same spot. At the beginning my gHSV2 has been pretty consistent with frequency and location. On average three outbreaks per year. However, during last 18 months, the virus has begun to move towards inner part of my groin with clusters of blisters appearing in sequence in different spots. Also OB frequency increased, approximately every 60 days. That made it very long to clear it. Initially, outbreak was about 4-5 days long, now even double, sometimes triple, as if I am constantly shedding. Notes to mention: I was infected by a woman even though I used a condom, therefore my penis was never in direct contact. I never took antivirals because I have never been in an intimate relationship again. It may sound bizarre and inaccurate what I am going to say, but it looks like the virus is somehow "intelligent", as if it knows that its original OB location doesn't give it too many possibilities to spread, consequently it is conquering new skin and increasing outbreaks intervals. I have been reading books and scientific articles about hereps and I often come across a contradictory statement. They say that over time outbreaks should be less frequent and milder, but not my case. I know that not one body is like the other and we all reacts differently to different conditions. Just wondering if anyone is keen to share their personal experience because I would like to be prepared for what else I need to expect.
