Hey Everyone,
I've basically been living on this sub for the past 13 weeks after having slept with someone with HSV2. I had balanitis and folliculitis pop up the following week after, which can both be atypical side effects of HSV2, even though I've never had an outbreak.
I waited 12 weeks and got an IGG done and just got the results back...and its negative.
I've learned so much from being on this sub about herpes and self worth and there is one less person with stigma around the virus.
That being said, I had created a subreddit called r/herpespics to use as a place to store real herpes outbreak photos and give people an alternative to google. It only has 5 submissions so far but I think it's a good idea and should be pursued. As I will be retiring this account, is there anyone that would like to take over as mod?
