Just need support. I'm 34 yr old female living with hsv2 it sucks. I'm also polyamorous and have a bf of one year also poly too. I have been talking to this amazing girl we hit it off great. Talked about meeting etc then last night she asked me if I'm std free. I told her i got tested recently and I do have hsv2. She asked an odd question about if i lost the std i was like huh and how do i have it then lost it. Again huh
Anyway, after telling her this she blocked me. Wtf! Every potential person who expresses interest in me just disappears. I'm like girl, you asked me the question about my status which i commend her for it as it's always me asking about people's statuses. But i get blocked? I got diagnosed with hsv2 in 2016, for a long time i never knew i had it. My other results were tested negative.
Another person who knows nothing about how an std can transmit. Everybody I'm meeting doesn't know how an std works go on the cdc site and learn. Dating sucks why be honest then people dip? Of course i have a right to say no if i feel you're not playing safe either. I'm not taking medicine at this time can't afford it yet.
Tired of running into people who treat me like shit. Rant over
