I had sex with someone who may have had HSV. They said they were clean. We had unprotected sex about three weeks ago. That next day I had sex with my BF. Both times I bottomed and got head from my BF. And for context I’m M23 my BF M24.

A week later I start having on my lower left side, abdominal pain, it’s manageable. It just feels like a cramp and makes me feel like I have to use the bathroom. This week on Sunday my BF started getting on and off headaches up to now which is about a week. He says it feels like a brain freeze and his head be cloudy. Are these symptoms of HSV? Has anyone had similar symptoms when comes to this? When did the symptoms start for you?

I’m nervous because I cheated a potentially affected my BF’s life. He got tested today but has to wait 3 days for results.

What do you guys think? Could it be HSV? I’m stressing to know because I don’t want to hurt him. I’ve heard that HSV can travel through the spine to the brain. It that true as well? Any feedback helps I promise.
