Hi! I (24F) posted asking whether or not anyone has considered using pimple patches on their genital outbreaks. So I tried it, and it totally works. I cleaned the area with witch hazel and alcohol (all you need is alcohol it burned good), put the patches on, and within 6 hours my blisters already burst. I’m on my second round of patches and I feel significantly better than I did when it first started. Also it’s great cause they cover them while you use the bathroom too, so I’m not irritating them by wiping! I’d recommend using some type of oil to help get them off if you respond negatively to friction.

If anyone was looking for another remedy to speed up the process I’m gonna be using this one moving forward.

I have GHSV1 btw, my outbreaks are usually in the exact same spot, and it’s maybe just one or two little blisters.
