Reason for Adventuring: Lyla Jones lead a pretty normal life. Raised in a happy family, she got an education in Arcana and Alchemy, and then was recruited by the Izzet League as a Chemist. She spent the better part of 5 years working on various experiments revolving around altering elements. She had a preference for working with Thunder and Lightning.
One day a coworker's experiment went horribly wrong. An experiment involving altering life forces had a catastrophic failure that resulted in an explosion. Lyla was riddled with shrapnel. The damage to her spine from the unstable chemicals caused her to hunger for Cerebral Spinal Fluid.
Now she is a Blastseeker, testing experimental weapons, as she travels the Material Plane to feed her growing hunger.
