Just like the title says, I clearly have a small left side inguinal hernia. I'm scheduled for laproscopic mesh repair with a hernia specialist surgeon.
I'm doing this to relieve minor discomfort, but a big part of the reason is just to deal with it as it feels like it will eventually get bigger and will eventually have to be dealt with. Dealing with it later will require a larger more invasive patch.
I would love to hear any feedback from others who have made the choice to have surgery with a similar case to mine. How did it work out? Do you feel that you made the right choice?
