In Wels video, he said that they started planning Season 6 back in February so just about six months ago. I am very curious what they did to plan for Season 6.
I've always been curious about how they chose the type of world they will have. For example, Season 3 with the mountains biome and then Season 4 in the Mesa biome. What do you guys to do decide on that? And how do you find a world with all the right properties you're looking for? And what are you even looking for in a certain world?
How do you decide what type of base you're building? Do all the other Hermits have to tell one another so there are no duplicate bases? How does Xisuma prepare the sever (e.g. mods, spawn location, mob griefing, etc.)? What other administrative work goes into making Season 6?
Those are just a few of the questions I have. I would love to learn about how the planning process works!
For season 5, Tango said in a livestream that he used a program to go through thousands of seeds to find one that met the criteria they were looking for, for example he wanted a quad witch hut spawned, a few hermits wanted ocean monuments or mooshroom islands etc.
