Chapter 2 - Corpus - Asclepius question
Post Body

Am I right in understanding that Trismegistus is telling Asclepius about the orbit and gravitational pull of celestial bodies on one another??

ā€œThis motion, Asclepius, is not conjoint but opposed, for the spheres are not moved in the same way; they move contrary to one another, and contraries keeps the motion balanced through oppositionā€

Iā€™m new to this.. but isnā€™t this statement in itself.. revolutionary for that time?? Just trying to build my foundation of understanding here
