Any Plus-Sized One Baggers Here? Looking for Bag Size and Bag Options Advice!
Post Body

Hey gals!

I am getting back into the full swing of things with traveling and so I'm dusting off old bags and looking at new bags! In the past, I travelled with solely a Cabin Zero 44L bag, which was fine for the years I used and needed it, but it was often incredibly heavy on my back.

Recently, I decided to pare down a bit, and I purchased the AerSF Travel Pack 3 (35L) and the AerSF Travel Pack 3 Small (28L)โ€”which I love by the way! I'm 5'5, so while I'm definitely not a tall lady, I'm a wide lady, and the AerSF standard Travel Pack felt too tall on my back (hitting my butt and head). I ended up returning the standard size Travel Pack and just stuck with the Small Travel Pack. Now I'm worried about whether or not a 28L size bag is feasible for a plus-sized person? Obviously bigger clothes take up more space, but I want to (or would like to) not have so much on my back as I'm getting well into my 30s.

Alternatively, would having the 28L backpack (and maybe trying to pass it off as a "personal item" on flights) and a small "carry on" size rolling luggage be too much? I most fly domestic US and Canada, with some trips to Western Europe.

Any advice you wonderful ladies could provide would be incredibly helpful, so thank you kindly in advance!
