Running Shoes for Winter Travel around West Europe, will it work?

hi ladies! hoping to get recommendations for good winter shoes for walking 20-30k steps in European Christmas streets.

I currently have UGG Chelsea boots, but my feet feel tired after 8-10 steps (I'll most likely bring it). I've used Timberlands in the past, but while they kept my feet warm, they were also heavy after a long day of walking. I've used ultraboost and onitsuka during autumn travels, but my feet get really cold wearing them when it rains. Any suggestions? Will I be fine wearing trainers and just buying good socks?
