Hey so this is not your typical post and I’m not sure if it’s even allowed. I will repost elsewhere if there is a more appropriate sub.
I have two questions:
How do you OneBag in a traditional sense with a baby? I like to OneBag travel as much as I can but I just found out we’re pregnant and so I have no clue how that will change things. I’d love to hear how you all more experienced travelers handle this. We have no official plans as of yet but we know we’ll be traveling to visit family with the babe since we are more financially fortunate than some of our family.
How does one pack a baby bag/diaper bag for daily use? I personally prefer backpacks over totes but I’m flexible. What is essential and what is not? How many contingency items are recommended? Do you have preferred bags that were perfect for your needs with a little one? I live in a city that has amazing access to forest, mountains, ocean and like to go on both city and nature adventures so I plan on doing that once the baby arrives as well. I want to build a baby GoKit and that will also come with me on actual traveling adventures as all of our family is spread out across the USA and Mexico.
Basically I want to get all this figured out now to start building a registry and so that when it’s time, I’m not a total anxious mess and a drag on my husband (and myself tbh). I want this baby to join us on our adventures rather than “hold us back” or be an “excuse” for staying in. I have a tendency to be a homebody and OneBagging has actually really helped me spread my wings so to speak. I wanna keep that sense of freedom and adventure and even pass it on to Le BabyNugget.
Thanks all!
Edit: lol at me saying I have two questions and it’s more like 10. My bad haha.
