Dentist strongly recommends I take my electric (Sonicare) toothbrush on 1-week trip to UK.
Post Body

Just saw the dentist, and she is a firm believer in the quality difference between electric vs. handheld toothbrushes. I have a decent Sonicare that charges with a special USB base, but once I got the molded, plastic "travel case" for it (via Amazon) it now looks like it's a lot for a one-bag trip. I am only taking my Osprey 26-6 and it is pretty full with clothes, sundries, laptop etc.

Does anyone take their electric toothbrush on this kind of trip? Do you take a case?

Maybe if I just put it in a sock and skip the hard case?

EDIT: Thank you all so much. Great advice and lots of different options/suggestions on this question.

2nd EDIT: I got the Phillips ONE with battery, no cord, streamlined hard case included. I will do a full full trip report including my teeth. ha!
