Post Body

I am 43 & have been experiencing, low libido, ED & lack of concentration for a couple of years now. I have been diagnosed with hereditary hemochromatosis. I am currently having weekly venesections to bring the Iron levels down. I decided to have a Testosterone check privately & these are the results:

Testosterone - 33.8nmol/L

Free testostorone - 0.381 nmol/L

SHBG - 91 nmol/L

Free androgen index 36.9 ration

Is anyone aware if hemochromatosis can cause elevated SHBG & if this elevated SHBG could be causing my loss of libido etc?
