So I was diagnosed about a year ago with hhc and Iāve been doing my phlebotomyās and stuff but I havenāt been very active and my dies is still very iffy. But my feratin isnāt going up at all. In fact itās down to 44. Probably even lower bc I just got a phlebotomy a few days ago. Is this normal? I should also probably mention Iām 21 and have a bit of fatty liver and liver scaring
I mean if you did the genetic test you have it. Which form do you have some dont cause iron overload

ā ļø I use a hormone specialist because I also have PCOS. I feel like hormone specialists are way more helpful because they donāt just throw pharmaceutical drugs at you to help you. I mean diet is huge with hemacromatosis. Low carb I do mostly gluten free. Rare red meat.
