Do I even have hemochromatosis?
Post Body

So I was diagnosed about a year ago with hhc and Iā€™ve been doing my phlebotomyā€™s and stuff but I havenā€™t been very active and my dies is still very iffy. But my feratin isnā€™t going up at all. In fact itā€™s down to 44. Probably even lower bc I just got a phlebotomy a few days ago. Is this normal? I should also probably mention Iā€™m 21 and have a bit of fatty liver and liver scaring

ā˜ ļø I use a hormone specialist because I also have PCOS. I feel like hormone specialists are way more helpful because they donā€™t just throw pharmaceutical drugs at you to help you. I mean diet is huge with hemacromatosis. Low carb I do mostly gluten free. Rare red meat.

I mean if you did the genetic test you have it. Which form do you have some dont cause iron overload
