All my life I have suffered from migraines, but last year I recently started seeing auras on my right eye and double vision. In July I was on vacation with my parents when I had a “stroke” and that is where everything changed because they found I had pulmonary hypertension but they didn’t know how I had a stroke at 30. I ended up finding out what I had when I went back to Ohio to see a neurologist. Apparently I got it sporadically because no one in my family has it. It has been really hard on me because the symptoms are just getting worse because I get numb a lot, dizzy, nauseous and just have to use the bathroom a lot. Right now I am just taking Topamax and it really doesn’t help. I sleep most of the day because I get hardcore migraines that hurt my right teeth to the point my right arm twitch/jolt of pain. I am literally considering apply for disability because I just can’t live like this. It causing me to be more depressed than ever and I feel like there is wedge in my relationship because of this too. Any things you do to help with the symptoms? Any advice?
