I don't have/can't find a picture but perhaps you all can help.
years ago, during the period between say 1993-1999/2000, I had a cloth angel doll. I remember her vividly. I asked my gran about it, yes, she was the one who got it for me years ago at a craft stall at a flea market. We're from the PA/NJ area. My mom got rid of the doll as a cruel punishment & I can't let her go.
She was a white cloth doll with a printed on face with (I think) blue eyes. Brown short yarn hair like boy short, possible metallic halo within hair, not sticking up. White or gold wings possibly shimmery/metallic but still soft. rounded soft feet & hands, white dress with lace ankle cuffs and wrist cuffs, possible lace at collar. skirt was long and possibly also trimmed with lace, dress was part of her body. She had a wooden block in her stomach so she could sit, and the biggest thing of all, a wooden yellow star sewn to both hands. My father had painted "Hannah's Guardian Angel" on it.
I've looked around flea markets & good wills. It kills me to think she's in a landfill.
I've found a few things similar, but nothing close enough. I've looked at vintage sewing patterns too.
she kept me safe the short time I had her and I'd love to find her again.
I'm trying to accept she was probably put in the trash & was one of a kind and I'll never have her again, but I can't.
