The artwork showed cartoony families of American forest animals like opossums and raccoons that were looking out of holes in trees, looking sad and starved and wearing ragged clothes, like hillbillies.
This is a thing that I vaguely remember someone giving to me when I was very young, probably too young to read the cover. No idea on the title or the year it was from. I believe that a family member got rid of it because it was too creepy looking. All I remember well is the artwork. I think it was an LP. It had goofy folk stories and songs that I didn't like or find interesting. This was in the mid-to-late 80s that I received it.
