It's winter, and I don't have central heating where I live. I have a space heater, but the desk by the window is too cold to sit at for any extended length of time. My couch is warmer (blankets and is closer to the heater), and I have a tiny PC set up to watch stuff there, too, so it makes more sense for me to do crafty stuff there during the cold season. I'm having trouble finding a table/desk/whatever you might call it for using at a couch, though. I don't want a TV tray/table that sits next to/in front of the couch, but rather I'd like something adjustable that can hover over my legs while I'm at the couch. I have no real clue how this idea would best work, I just want something that works well for crafty stuff on the couch, without having to constantly lean forward to get stuff off of, so instead it's like over my lap or something. I need it to be pretty long, too, like 3-4 feet long, and at least 1.5 feet wide. This is because the stuff I do can take up a lot of space. It would also be helpful if it had slots for like, paint bottles and various other things/tools. I'm wondering if I would just have to get something custom made...
