HMF Books About Gnomes (‘90s)

As a kid I had a set of very large green books - like 2’ x 3’ or so. There were 4 or 5 of them and they came in a box/sleeve. They had illustrations of things like gnomes, red/white mushrooms, maybe forest creatures as well.
Any ideas of what these might have been?
