Probably an obvious question

How does everyone post on their own page. I noticed that everyone has a username and that username has their own sub...maybe I'm wrong. I know how to make a post, but it does not have any correlation in a sub specifically. So I would rather pin it to my profile, like how I seen folks do. If you feel this question is silly...then that explains why no one responds back. Which I have no qualms with, you can't learn something without trying or experimenting. Thanks for your time, whomever reads
