American M1917 Civil Defense Brodie (/Asbestos concern question)

Gday yall! Ceck out this neat old Civil defense helmet I picked up at my local thrift shop today. I'd intended it to be a part of a Halloween costume (showing up to the party like "right, turn those lights out!") but I've just stumbled upon the fact that a lot of these old Brodie helmets had asbestos in their lining, so I'm posting here for thoughts and advice, in addition to just showing off my loot :p
