Okay, this is something about S2E6 that's bothered me since I first saw it. This exchange where Blitzo and Fizz talk about why they didn't interact and they both come to the realization that it was due to a misunderstanding and lies told by others. But, like...am I missing something?

The whole scene made it seem like Fizz and Blitzo finally connected the dots and realized something that made the whole misunderstanding make sense, but...what was it they realized beyond other people lied? I have been trying to figure this out for ages and I feel stupid. Literally the only thing I can think of is that the unsaid part is "Oh, Mammon was being a controlling asshole." But, like, that's never clear. It's not even clear who the "they" is that they're talking about.

Was I the only one confused by this?? It just feels like there's a single thing the show didn't explicitly tell us that would make this whole exchange make a lot more sense than just "Oops! Comedy of errors! LOL!" And that interpretation just feels...out of place for the tone being set with the dialog.
