More helpful tips for beginners.
Post Body

I understand that some beginners live in a very strict household; that is probably worse off than mine, as you've already read in my profile comments. Anyways, I wanted to let people know that you've got options to feel closer to your deities without your family assuming you're doing something. I've seen countless posts asking what I can do if I can't have an altar because of my, but I still want to feel close to my deities. There are some things I want to bring up that people might not understand or might even know about.

You can buy dried pressed flowers in jewelry form on Etsy. There are many types of dried pressed flowers that you can get on Etsy, as well as dried herbs as well. You can also get sterling silver necklaces or rhinestone necklaces of your deities' associated symbols or animals. You can also wear deities' associated colors or symbols in your clothing and aesthetics in your looks. If you're allowed to dye parts of your hair, you can put your deities' associated color on your hair. You can also wear perfume or cologne of your deities' associated smell profile based on the flowers and herbs of your deities' associations. The same goes for shower products as well.

You can also get a phone case if you can find a case that has your deities' associated symbols or associated colors. You can also do the same thing with your phone by setting a wallpaper. To be really sneaky about it, again, it's all about using your deities' associated symbols to act as a ''hidden message'' where sus family members won't expect anything. Speaking of phones, you can create a playlist for your deities, which I know is already well known, but I'm going to put that here, and also about doing aesthetic digital altars on their cellphones. Since I'm not well equipped and knowledgeable on technology, I don't bother doing digital altars on cell phones because I end up getting mad and frustrated at myself. However, I do have my phone background to an aesthetic background that reminds me of one of the deities that I work with.

Do what devotional acts you can for your deities that you work with; some of them shouldn't raise a question from your family about what you are doing. Just look at a guide sheet that I've posted on the other posts before this one about the cheat sheet for your deities. It's basically a quick reference guide to many deities that the Tumblr user created for quick facts about your deities' devotional acts on there. Pick one that won't raise a question of your family asking you, what are you doing? I also got this creative idea lately that I want to start doing. I want to start creating a journal scrapbook for my deities with stickers that remind me of my deities. I think this would be such a fun creative outlet for me to do with my deities.

Now, in my last posts, people might ask about having my decorated candles out on my ''abstract altars'' and what my deities think of that.

My deities know, and your deities will know if the offering comes from a genuine piece of your heart and the offering means well. The deities will know or not if you're being genuine with the offering gift presented to them. It's all about how genuine you're with your deities. To be quite honest, one of my deities thinks it's quite amusing to him that I don't want to light candles because I don't want his altar to burn or the house to burn down. But yeah, if you just leave a candle out on a deity's altar, they're not going to care. It's the same as my preference to use incense sticks instead of candle lighting. But anyway, this whole thing of ''oh, you better do things right or your deities will be very angry at you'' is just no comment. More importantly, nobody should tell you how you and your deities should connect, commune, change the relationship that you've with your deities, or correct you on anything with your deities in the first place. Nobody will understand the connection between you and your deities but you and your deities. There is no in-between in this, and you shouldn't let people ''control you like this.

Last thing before I close this post out. Some things that you need to also get into your head, your deities will not get mad at you if you have to play ''unseen'' which I know is a pun to Hades, but here we're haha. Anyway, the deities know that you've got to play ''unseen'' for your deities because of your family being very strict. I already stated this in my last posts, but this whole trend of my deities being mad at me is a trend on TikTok for attention; again, this is why I call TikTok trends trickery. Because your mind is ''dulled by the trickery'' * you keep believing that your deities are mad at you because you fell for the ''bait'' which then you gave the trend misinformation setter on the TikTok creator the dye attrition that they wanted all along while fooling you and dragging the deities in the mud. Some people honestly don't care about the deities respectfully enough; some people will only see deities as a dire tool to gain attention and followers for their own TikTok fame. Because some people's social status does matter to them. Otherwise, that leads them to unhappiness. Which then leads to the person using all measures to get the upper ''crown'' even if that means dragging the deities in the mud to gain the ''crown'' plus that includes giving people misinformation just so the person that needs attention can click all the clicks they want for a satisfactory feel. So, while closing out these posts. Remind yourself of this one thing. Only you and your deities will matter to you and only you. Nobody should ever assume they know everything about you and your deities because they don't. It's all lies, and all lies of trickery to play with your mind to dull your ''senses.'' My advice would be this. You should just take a break from social media or delete yourself off of TikTok and see the difference within yourself in your mental and spiritual health once you've taken a break from social media or have deleted yourself from TikTok. I've also run into some people on one Subreddit where the person said that deleting TikTok has done wonders for their mental and spiritual health. Which should be speaking volumes to people that have mental health issues or spiritual dull ''senses'' and are corrupted by TikTok trends in the first place.
