I know that sounds rich considering I'm not exactly volunteering to make one. And I know that we have a weekly newcomer thread too. But we get so many of the same questions. I feel that deleting such posts coming from new people that are a bit lost and just looking for community is obviously wrong too.

But having a good, comprehensive, landing post for new Hellenists would help create more interesting posts from new Hellenists too (provided they actually read such a post) and we would get less, "are the gods angry at me?", "Can worship x god as this gender?", "Is just having x ok for my altar?", Etc. Not demeaning those concerns but we get them a lot here.
