My first (ever) offering to Hekate
Post Body

Hi, guys.

First of all, I want to provide some context.

I was an atheist for a whole decade. I didn't believe in any god or goddess - I was raised as a Catholic but then became an atheist. Also, my dad is Spiritualist but I've never felt drawn to that (once I went to one of their churches). I didn't feel anything in those religions. So, I became an atheist.

These months I've been studying a lot for my exam. I work in IT and I was studying to get my certification, which is a big certification in IT. This month I already had told all of my friends I wasn't going anywhere on weekends, because I was focused studying.

Then I received some signs. And it felt like a lot - I was extremely charged when I got to know Hekate. I knew other Greek gods and goddesses, but I never heard of her before. And that "charged" feeling... I never felt that in my whole life. It was so unique. I searched about her and not too long after I realized I wasn't an atheist. I'm polytheist. But she definitely is the first one and guided me to this new path. I feel very thankful.

After some weeks (from the beginning of this new journey) I took my exam. Which gets us to: today.

I was pretty insecure on the weekend and yesterday.

But I didn't need to be insecure.

Because I passed.

And I made an offering to Hekate because she made me feel different, safe, and seemed like she gave me a sign to go for it. She got to see my hard work.

I'm still a little lost on how offerings work, but I offered her some stuff (food) and I talked out loud about the exam, this new phase and some few other stuff.

I wanted to share with you guys - everything's new and I feel that I made her very proud. <3

(And today I got to open a wine bottle for the first time with the wine opener - never done that before. Lol!)

P.S: wasn't quite sure about the flair, but this one seems like it fits
