I've read that honey, lavender, animal bones, snake skin, keys, and stars and the moon are all good to put on her altar. But I'm wondering if anyone has any other recommendations like crystals, types of drawings/pictures, colors, etc.

Also. I know that some people place down a ceremonial cloth on their altar. But could you potentially make one of crochet to place down? Or should it be a certain fabric? Because my thought was that handmaking something rather than buying it would mean more, but I'd like some advice.

A note on the cloth, because I have dogs in the house that run around without a care, I will be using electric candles instead of real flame candles for the safety of my pets, myself, my partners, and my apartment.
