Hello, I am new to hellenism and I do wish to learn of it's practice. For a bit of backstory about my life, I grew up christian but I have slowly started to see God as a being of his own existence rather than a being of all things. Ever since I began to drift from the unquestioned superiority figure and more towards God being an existence of his own, I've started to realize how human God is and how extremely questionable his actions are (especially the fact that he doesn't want his actions questioned). It has started to strain my relationship with him. However, it has also made me wonder about other Gods.
I have a friend who has patreon gods and an altar for them and I've been fascinated by the idea of it and have this strong desire to either seek or acknowledge the existence of other dieties. But I don't know where to start. I'm not necessarily interested in any deep or intense practice, I am not in a stage of my life where I can offer my complete devotion, I also need to sort my relationship out with the Christian God first because there's so much doubt and fear coming from that side of things. But I am interested in making contact with a few dieties like the Chinese diety Nezha and Greek dieties like Hades, Dionysus, Athena, and maybe Artemis and Apollo. For now I want to start with acknowledging them and maybe shouting out a greeting or offering here and there.
Is it possible to get a guide to some of these, or explanation as to how Diety work works?
