What still surprises me, but really shouldn't, is the lack of awareness from low level players.

I jump into a low level lobby today, their average is lvl 30, so not super low, and they are trying a squid 9th level helldive. Okay cool I'll help out, let them do the bulk of the stuff together while I clean up some of the other objectives and grab samples for them. We drop in, They head for the main mission, while I head for the SEAF and super uranium samples. Get the SEAF loaded and done, but I die there and drop most of the samples we have, including the super samples. No biggie, they need help with the SAM-site and pillar. Help them with that, and head to the other SAM to get that sorted so we have all the side missions done. While I'm there, I pick up the samples they dropped along the way, and they head to evac and call it in. No worries, I'll just let them know that all the other samples are at SEAF about 100m away from evac, and ask if they can go grab them before evac? No one replies, so I voice chat telling them to wait for me we still have time on the clock and I'll grab the samples myself. Still no one responds... Maybe they don't speak english, oh well.

I'm about halfway to evac, they get overwhelmed and two die, so I call them in on me as I'm headed there, the pelican will wait, and we can head as a trio. Nope. I get tk'd by the lowest level player (~lvl 20), and they don't even pick up the samples I dropped when they killed me. Last person at evac panics and gets on the pelican, the remaining two make it back with 3s to spare, no one called me back in, and the majority of samples I picked up get left behind...

I busted my ass soloing 2 side missions and helping them complete the main, just for them to tk me and leave all the samples behind... Between the 3 of them they had 7 samples. I had around 30, plus the super samples!

Y'all needed those samples more than I do. Y'all would have failed two side missions without my effort and scored less xp. Y'all fucking suck!!! I was trying to help. No need to tk. You don't unlock stratagems from levelling up, you buy them using samples and points, points that I helped you earn.

Ungrateful, spiteful, idiotic. If this is the type of helldivers super earth is pumping out, I fear for our democracy.
