bring stratagems or have friends with anti-armor and you're golden with this thing (except gunships that genuinely is what kills this gun for bots)

AC>AMR>HMG=Las98>>Railgun.
All have one thing they can be king at. AC is just the best hands down as it does everything, but AMR is better at chaff killing IMO, while HMG TTK is best when close but reload/ammo eff makes it less than AMR, LAS has ammo conservation and good on gunships (AC is about as good), and railgun is better at hulks.
Railguns lack of ability to kill tanks, turrets, gunships makes its crap, you don't always have a stratagem or teammate to do these things on higher level missions.
