This doesn't make what you said any more logical. I'm not sure if the change is good or bad, but what you said was just silly.
I don't think its bad at all but I think sometimes devs get fooled, or the playerbase does into thinking THEY are bad. One comment you will see on a lot of solo helldive videos is how few enemies they fight, this makes players think the game is somehow broken.
One thing I haven't seen, and maybe some do is live solo helldive videos, only pre recorded, which makes me wonder how many are doing them 100% legit, and how many are figuring out the map and doing multiple takes for views/clout via alt-f4ing. No way to know.
I do know things can get bad quickly for me 6 or higher solo on bots but if I redid it several times, I'm sure I could solo those not making the same mistakes twice.
I just worry sometimes devs see this and then react with a selection bias.
I hope this change isn't the result of too many "Solo deathless helldive" youtubes which only included the best runs and and alt-f4ing to know where everything was on map prior.
