I (lv 44) get a personal order for extracting with 10 samples, with 15 minutes on the clock to do it. No worries, I'll just pop into a trivial mission to do it really quick. As I'm going through, another diver joins me who's around my level. I figure it's no big deal, maybe they have the same personal order as myself. It'll work out for the both of us. They go through the entire map with me, opening up friendship, doors, picking up samples and it's all great until the pelican lands, because then they shoot me in the head, leave the samples on the ground, and just extract. I'm back on my ship, and seethe for the 2 minutes left on the clock for my PO.
So firstly to the traitor, fuck you.
That said, I hate that I'm now so paranoid about letting anyone join my missions. I don't join other missions because I'm afraid of someone shooting us in the transport at the end. It really bothers me that there's also nothing that can be done about traitors them ruining the fun of this game for others.
Can we please put in a better better system to address traitors than the generic report function that really likely goes nowhere because there's not enough information to do anything about it?
